Hi N73544, engineers, crew and all, Good luck with the ferry flight, I hope it passes without any hitches and you guys all enjoy yourselves. Flying the pond will be like the 'old days' for the Connie, she was built for it. N73544 I will see and fly you in Geneva 26th May 2004 until then behave yourself, be safe and look after the crew! Best regards Darren Smith (an Englishman leaving in Oslo, Norway).

Congratulations and success to completion/landing and beyond. I am a 40 year sales veteran who has flown on many Connies of Eastern in my teens, working with NW for the past 12yrs. in Seattle after career with VIASA NYC and a stint in the old Trans Caribbean Airways. Plan to buy the FS4 program, though not a pilot, love to fly this way.

Great to see your Superconstellation heading for Europe. The first big airplane I worked on as an engineer was a L1049 of KLM, back in 1953. Since a couple of years I work on the Aviodrome Constellation on which I crossed the Atlantic to Europe. I work mainly on the engines ,they are my greatest hobby. I used to do maintenance on the big piston engines such as R3350BD.DAand EA,s. During my stay in Marana I have met several of your people who I like to give my best regards. I wish you a very good and troubleless trip to Europe and many good flights in the future Jan Schenk

So wonderful!!! I flew with family in a Connie waaaay back in the early early 60s. Didn't know what it was (i was about 6) but those triple tails stuck in my mind. I've been avidly watching the various documentaries(Discovery Channel, I think), articles and such concerning the restoration of Connies all over. We have all these great modern airplanes and spacecraft, but it is the Lockheed Constellations, and other older craft of their age being restored that warms the heart. So Glad you were able to get her flying. Like many others, I check your website daily, and I am following along with FS9 and the SCFA Connie on your ferry flight. May Your Wings Never Tire!!! Congratulations! When I was in Camarillo the 18 March 2004 I could hardly believe that the departure on 26 April would take place! Good continuation! Always happy landings! I once had the great luck to fly with AMSA's HI-542CT out of Miami to Santo Domingo on a cargo run. 'Classic' arrival with three engines running. See you in Basel! Super Constellation Flyers: I work at the Omaha airport and was floored and awed when this "SUPER CONNIE" landed here last night. I drove around the aircraft several times just amazed at the sight of this "BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED HISTORICAL AIRCRAFT". Watching the ground crew busily going about their duties of fueling and securing the aircraft for the night was like watching an old time movie. GREAT JOB to ALL involved in this project of restoring history. KEEP EM FLYING!

I very much look forward to seeing the "Breitling Super Constellation" in Basel next month. The Constellation brings good memories as iit was the first plane I flew in as a passenger in October 1947. The TWA flight was one of the first transatlantic flights from Geneva, Switzerland to New York's La Guardia airport. I wish you all the best for the flight to Basel and congradulations to your team on their efforts to restor this magnificent aircraft. Pierre Wasserman Geneva, Switzerland
